Jamshedpur Kanhaiya Singh murder case: Two accused Ravi Sardar and Chhotu Diggi surrender

Seraikela, July 18: Ravi Sardar and Chhotu Diggi, both accused in Kanhaiya Singh murder case of Adityapur, surrendered before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) of Seraikela on Monday. They were sent to Seraikela Jail.

According to the officer in-charge of Adityapur PS, “Both accused have surrendered before the court. We would soon be taking them on remand for interrogation in connection with the case.”

Kanhaiya Singh was shot dead at the threshold of his flat in Adityapur last month. Police arrested his daughter Aparna Singh, her paramour Rajvir Singh and shooter Nikhil Gupta in this case. Raids were being conducted in search of Ravi and Chhotu. Due to mounting pressure on their families, they surrendered before the court, sources said.
