Jamshedpur Kalakar Manch to organize Kishore Kumar evening on Aug 4

Jamshedpur, July 31: Jamshedpur Kalakar Manch (JKM) is not a new name in city circles in the realms of promoting music talents and organizing musical shows with popular artistes from Mumbai, Kolkata and other places while offering the same platform for local artistes to rub shoulders with their more popular counterparts.

JKM is once again all set to organize �Ek Shaam Kishoreda ke Naam� on Sunday, August 4 at Rabindra Bhawan Auditorium from 6 pm. August 4 coincides with all round entertainer Kisore Kumar�s birth anniversary celebrations. The legendary singer�s array of songs from sentimental to rollicking genres continues to remain all time favourites among listeners of all ages and temperaments.

JKM has traditionally provided the city with top rung singers each year on the legendary singer�s birthday celebrations and the list includes the likes of Vinod Rathore and Amit Kumar Ganguly (Kishore Kumar�s son and himself a popular Bollywood and Tollywood singer) among a host of other big names.

Briefing newspersons today the JKM Patron and Jamshedpur Commercial Tax GST Department�s Assistant Commissioner Mithilesh Kumar, President Sanjiv Banerjee Tubai, Secretary Raja Barua, Vice President Vinit Srivastav and Treasurer Kiran Kumar stated that as in previous years, the tradition to honour immortal singer Kishore Kumar on his birth anniversary continues this year with �Ek Shaam Kishoreda ke Naam� to be organized at Rabindra Bhawan on Sunday, August 4. Popular singers from Kolkata Ratul Das and Bapi Adhikari will perform this year along with local artistes.

Among the honoured guests will be police officers, social workers Gyan Chandra Jaiswal, Vikas Singh and BJP leader Bharat Singh. Entry for the event will be with free passes.
