Jamshedpur, March 31: According to police reports that have emerged, Ravi Agarwal has confessed to orchestrating his wife, Jyoti Agarwal’s murder. Three persons, including Ravi Agarwal, have been arrested in connection with the case, and the police are set to disclose further details on Monday.

The Chandil police station apprehended Ravi Agarwal and three hired shooters involved in the murder of Jyoti Agarwal. The shooters hailed from the Sidhgora police station area. Ravi Agarwal allegedly commissioned the crime by offering cash to the assailants. Police have seized the weapon and vehicle used in the fatal attack.

Reports suggested that Ravi Agarwal had attempted to eliminate his wife on multiple occasions prior to the fatal incident. In January, he had reportedly paid Rs Eight lakh for Jyoti’s elimination with an unsuccessful attempt planned outside a restaurant in Bistupur. Ravi Agarwal admitted to plotting his wife’s murder for two years, even recounting a previous attempt to strangle her during a trip to Gangtok.

Jyoti Agarwal was shot dead in the Chandil police station area on Friday night, with her husband and two children present at the time of the incident. An FIR for murder has been filed against Ravi Agarwal by the deceased’s father, Prem Agarwal, in the Chandil police station. Ravi, a resident of Sonari, now faces serious legal consequences for his alleged involvement in the crime.
