Chaibasa, Aug 30: A delegation of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leaders met the officer in-charge of Telco Ranvijay Sharma on Tuesday and demanded action against those dealing in narcotic drugs.
The party leaders complained that incidents of thefts and snatching had increased in Telco. They said many youths were becoming drug addicts day by day. This should be stopped through timely action by police, they said.
The JMM leaders also demanded installation of dustbins at various places in different localities of Telco to prevent epidemic breakout. They further demanded action against land sharks involved in encroachment of public land.
