Jamshedpur: JMM leader Mahabir Murmu to support players and sports clubs

Jamshedpur: In a move to promote sports and support local talent, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Mahabir Murmu has assured all possible assistance to players and sports clubs across the state. Responding to a request from the Baba Tilka Majhi Aibhen Akhara football team of Baliguma village, Murmu provided them with football jerseys, emphasizing the party’s commitment to nurturing sports in Jharkhand.

The young footballers had reached out to Murmu, seeking jerseys for their team. Taking swift action, the JMM leader visited the village and handed over the jerseys, reaffirming the party’s dedication to the welfare of aspiring athletes. On this occasion, Murmu highlighted Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s vision of providing better facilities to sportspersons, ensuring they receive the necessary resources to excel in their respective fields.

“Hon’ble Chief Minister Hemant Soren Ji’s efforts are aimed at uplifting sports in Jharkhand by ensuring that every player gets the support they need. We, as part of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha family, are committed to extending every possible help to athletes and clubs so they can focus on their game without any hurdles,” Murmu stated.

The event was attended by several dignitaries and local community members, including Majhi Baba Ramesh Murmu, Mohan Hansda, Lugu Hansda, Vishwanath Murmu, Arjun Hansda, Durga Prasad Hansda, Sheetal Mardi, Manoj Tanti, Singrai Soren, Rabi Mardi, and other club members. Their presence underscored the collective effort to encourage young athletes in the region.
