Jamshedpur, March 5: Two persons died while two others got injured in a road accident near Chutupalu valley in Ramgarh in the wee hours of Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Naresh Prasad (65) and Suresh Prasad (60), both brothers and Sakchi-based jewelers. They were accompanied by Vijay Burman and Pappu Burman.

The four were returning from Prayagraj in a Maruti Swift after taking the holy dip in Kumbh fair yesterday.

Sources said the tragedy occurred when the car rammed into a stationary truck laden with bricks and parked on one side of the highway.

The collision was so powerful that the front portion of the car was mangled completely. All four passengers were taken to Medica Hospital where the two brothers died during treatment, sources said.

Naresh Prasad was the proprietor of Gaya Jewelers, a shop in Sakchi, while Suresh Prasad was the proprietor of Kanak Jewelers.
