Jamshedpur, July 26: Aastha Singh of Sacred Heart Convent School is the city topper in Arts stream in the ISC Class 12th Board Exam. She scored 98.75 per cent. A resident of Sonari, she scored 99 each in Geography, Economics and Political Science. In English and Hindi, she scored 98 and 97 marks.
Aastha had expected 98 per cent marks. She studied regularly, picking different topics each day and completing it in a single sitting. She also solved previous years’ questions. “I achieved success through self study and never attended any tutorial classes. Course books are sufficient for exam preparations and one does not need to go anywhere for help,” said the topper.
Aastha aspires to become an IAS officer. She wants to study Public Administration in IGNOU. She loves reading books and painting. She attributes her success to her father Vineet Kumar Singh and mother Dr Aparajita Singh.
