Jamshedpur, July 18: Sulagna Basack of Hill Top School, who brought laurels to her parents and alma mater by becoming second national topper in the ICSE 10th Board exams, Monday attributed her success to her teachers, parents and her planned hard work.

Speaking to scribes on the school premises, the topper said, “Time management is the secret of my success. Anyone can become successful through effective time management. Doing hard work and preparing short notes helped me succeed.”

Sulagna has participated in numerous competitive events since her LKG days till now and has received many awards. She has also topped in many national level competitions. For her, school is second home and her teachers including Principal Puneeta B Chouhan have played a pivotal role in giving her academics a definite direction. According to her Principal, “Sulagna has been a brilliant student since LKG. Before her 10th Board exams, I was sure she would become a national topper.”

After her engineer grandfather and parents, Partha Basack and Sumona Basack, Sulagna wants to become a biotech engineer.
