Jamshedpur, March 22: State-level dance competition ‘Jashn-e-Night’ will be held on the first anniversary of Sonari situated The Dance Studio at The Milanee Hall in Bistupur on May 13 (Grand Finale). Ahead of the grand finale, auditions will be held in Jamshedpur, Ranchi and Chakradharpur.
Ranchi auditions will be held at Palash Hotel, near Over bridge on Sunday, April 16, in Chakradharpur the auditions will be held in Kalyan Mandap on April 23 while the auditions in Jamshedpur will be organised at Chamber Bhawan on April 30. This was informed by Puja Agarwal, proprietor of the dance studio. Addressing a press conference at a city hotel on Wednesday, Puja said, for the grand finale Dance India Dance (DID) fame Prince Gupta and Alisha Singh will be present as the judges.
She further said that for the Ranchi audition the judges will be Tanmay and Shambhu from Kolkata and Aastha Das from Jamshedpur. For Chakradharpur auditions, the judges will be Jamshedpur’s Aastha Das and Choreographer Master Devjit Dhar. For the Jamshedpur auditions the judges will be Tanmay from Kolkata and Ravi from Ranchi.
The Dance Studio since its inception has focused to bring out the talent of the poor and deprived children of the society. The dance institute has been providing free service to the children of ‘School of Hope’ and ‘Sankalp’
Puja Agarwal went on to say that the main motive of hosting the state-level dance competition is to provide financial assistance to ‘School of Hope’, ‘Sankalp’ and Chesire Home as all the children living here are from very poor families and they always look for help from the society.
Answering a query, Puja said, the promotion is on for the state-level competition through social media and we have started receiving applications from the youths from all over Jharkhand. Also present during the press conference were master Devjit Dhar, Kumar Kunal, Ashish Kumar, Ishaat Ali, Shivendra Srivastav and Vijay Agarwal.
