Jamshedpur, May 17: Manager of 111 Save Life Hospital, Dr O. P Anand has in a video message sought apology for uttering disgraceful statements against health minister Banna Gupta and the acting civil surgeon and health unit team which had come to inspect his hospital.
On the directive of the SP Seraikela, cases under section 341, 323, 340, 304, 506, 188, 68/21 of the IPC has been lodged under RIT thana. All the section are non-bailable. While seeking apology the hospital manager has accused the health department team of deliberately harassing him during the inspection.
“I extend apology for my statement and I am hurt for making the statement but the media should not have shown all the statements to the masses,” said Dr Anand in the video message.
He also accused the health department team of seeking documents and papers repeatedly and exerting pressure on the hospital staff while he was busy in looking after Covid patients in the ICU ward. He said that out of harassment and in the spur of the moment he had given such irrresponsible statements against the health team.
