Jamshedpur, June 2: Kumari Shreya and Naysa of Jamshedpur left for Panchkula (Haryana) to participate in Khelo India National Games to be held from June 4 to 13.
Prior to the departure, Kumari Shreya and Naysa along with coach Pragya Paromita Chakraborty given warm send off by Pratik Sangharsh Foundation at Tatanagar Railway Station.
It is worth mentioning that for the Khelo India Games only Kumari Shreya and Naysa of Jamshedpur have been selected for the Yoga competition from all over Jharkhand.
Shreya and Nyasa were selected in the competition held in Bhubaneswar in November 2021. On the occasion, coach Pragya Paromita Chakraborty said that it is a matter of pride for us.
Coach informed that for the first time Yoga has been included in the National Game Khelo India. Arijit Sarkar of Prateek Sangharsh Foundation said that it will be a proud moment for the residents of Jamshedpur, when Kumari Shreya and Naysa will represent Jharkhand at the national competition.
He expressed confidence that Kumari Shreya and Nayasa would bring laurels to the city as well as the entire Jharkhand. Also present were Prasenjit Sarkar, Pulak Kumar Sengupta, Khem Prakash, Viplav Vishwas, Deepak Mitra, Swapan Pramanik, Manotosh Ghoshal, Tapan Chanda, Bijon Sarkar and Arup Majumdar.
