Jamshedpur, May 12: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the results of class 10 and 12 board exams on Friday with students across the city performing well.
In class 10, Twisha Mukherjee of DAV Public School, Bistupur scored 99 per cent and topped the city. She bagged third spot in Jharkhand State. Pavani Kumar (99.4 %) of DPS Ranchi bagged the top spot in Jharkhand followed by Harshit Agarwal (99.2%) of DAV Gumla.
In class 12, Shree Kumari of St Marry’s English School was declared Jamshedpur commerce topper with 96.6 percent.
Twisha Mukherjee, a student of DAV Public School in Bistupur, has emerged as the city topper in the CBSE class 10 board exams, scoring an impressive 99%. Her father, Tushar Kant Mukherjee, is a central government employee, and her mother is Rupa Mukherjee.
Despite expecting a score of 90-91%, Twisha was thrilled to find out that she had scored 99% in the exams. She attributed her success to her hard work and dedication towards her studies. Twisha had put in long hours of preparation and had been consistently working towards achieving her goals, which had resulted in her excellent performance.
Expressing her future plans, Twisha shared that she wants to pursue engineering and will continue her studies in Kolkata as her family is relocating there. Her success has made her family and school proud, and Twisha has become an inspiration for other students in the city.

Several students across the city performed exceptionally well in the exams, scoring perfect 100s in multiple subjects. The board also noted that there was a significant increase in the number of students who appeared for the exams this year.
Students and their parents expressed their joy and relief at the results, with many of them crediting the hard work put in by the students and the support provided by the schools.
School officials congratulated the students on their performance and lauded the efforts of the teachers and schools in ensuring that the exams were conducted smoothly.
Another topper, Shree Kumari, who scored 96.6% in CBSE Class 12, emphasized the importance of effective time management and preparation. “I spent a lot of time studying, but I also made sure to take breaks and stay balanced,” he said. “I also practiced solving past papers and test-taking strategies, which helped me feel confident during the exams.”
