Jamshedpur: Sulagna Basak, a student of Hill Top School, Jamshedpur, has once again brought laurels to her school and city. Following her outstanding performance in the 10th ICSE Board Examination in 2022, where she secured the second position in the country, Sulagna has now clinched the top spot in the JEE Mains Paper 2.
Sulagna along with Muthu R from Tamil Nadu are the top scorers in the BArch exam.
In the BPlanning exam, Kolasani Saketh Pranav from Andhra Pradesh and Arun Radhakrishnan from Karnataka secured top ranks.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the results of the JEE Mains Paper 2, where Sulagna emerged as the All India Rank 1 holder with a perfect 100 percentile score in B.Arch. Her exceptional performance not only secured her the top rank nationwide but also positioned her among the top 5 students of the state with an impressive 99.88% in the JEE Main Session-1 B.E. / B.Tech examination.
Principal Uma Tiwary extended her heartfelt congratulations to Sulagna for her outstanding achievement, expressing pride in her continuous success and representing Hill Top School with distinction.

A total of 99,086 candidates registered for both January and April sessions of JEE Main 2024 Paper 2, with 71,009 appearing in both sessions. Specifically, for the BArch exam in Session 2, 73,362 candidates registered, and 36,707 attended. For the BPlanning exam in Session 2, 38,105 candidates registered, and 16,228 appeared.
