Jamshedpur girl painting shown in Kolkata

Jamshedpur, November 23: An exhibition of paintings of Kumari Nidhi, younger daughter of Shekhar Kumar, district convener (IT Cell) of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) OBC Morcha Jamshedpur and Vice President of All India Teli Mahasabha, Jharkhand, was organized in Nandlal Bose Gallery, Kolkata.

She was given this opportunity in the black and white exhibition by The Dexter, Kolkata. In this, Nidhi was selected from Jharkhand. Nidhi exhibited her painting, which was done in charcoal and graphite, in the gallery there.

Nidhi was given a certificate of honor and a commemorative medal from “The Dexter”. In this exhibition, apart from Kolkata and various places in the country, painters from abroad also displayed their talent.

Nidhi, who returned from Kolkata, is pursuing her post-graduation from Jamshedpur Women’s College, Bistupur, Jamshedpur.

Nidhi’s next step is to display the paintings made by her in painting exhibitions organized in different parts of the country.

Nidhi’s father Shekhar Kumar and her mother and elder sister are very proud of this success.
