Jamshedpur gangster Akhilesh Singh’s bail application rejected

Jamshedpur, Aug 26: The sessions court of Gurugram has rejected the bail plea of gangster Akhilesh Singh in the firing case. Singh and his wife were arrested on 11 October 2017 from a flat in Gurugram’s Sushant Lok jointly raided by Jamshedpur and Gurugram police. During this, Akhilesh had opened fire on the police. In response, the police also opened fire which hit Akhilesh Singh in both the knees.
An FIR was registered against Akhilesh in Sector 29 police station of Gurugram. On August 25, the hearing on the bail application of Akhilesh Singh was held in the sessions court of Gurugram. The court rejected the bail application saying that after the framing of charges in the case, the bail application will be heard again on September 3.
Senior Advocate Md. Niazi and Prakash Jha had argued in the case. Senior Advocate Prakash Jha gave the information. It is to be known that on August 9, the Supreme Court had also rejected the bail plea of Akhilesh Singh in the jailer murder case. Umashankar Pandey, the jailer of Sakchi jail, was shot dead in broad daylight by Akhilesh Singh, along with his henchmen, entering the prison premises residence in March 2002. In this case, his partner Santosh Pathak was caught by the mob, who was beaten to death by the people.
