Jamshedpur, Aug 16: A team of Railway Protection Force (RPF) arrested one Ajit Jha from the VIP parking lot of Tatanagar railway station on Tuesday in connection with the murder of a food delivery boy, Kunal Malik, in Adityapur under RIT police station area.
Malik, a resident of Road No. 19, Adityapur, was murdered recently.
The RPF officials said the accused had spilled the beans during interrogation. Ajit was arrested just few moments before he was about to leave the city. Cops seized a knife allegedly used by him in the murder. They also arrested one Deepak Das, an associate of Ajit, on the basis of his confession.
RPF officials informed RIT police about the arrests and forwarded the accused persons to judicial custody.
