Health Minister convenes meeting to expedite flyover project

Jamshedpur, Dec 2: State Health Minister Banna Gupta Friday said the proposed flyover at Jamshedpur (Mango) would be constructed within a fixed time period. He said the project would be completed in time to ensure the people of the city get its benefits.

Gupta was speaking at a meeting convened by him at the National Health Mission (NHM) office here on Sunday to expedite the project work. He presided over the meeting which was also attended by Pranay Sinha and Captain Dhananjay Mishra of Tata Steel UISL, Amit Singh, Chief Engineering of Road Construction Department, CDO Rajesh Kumar Singh and other company and government officials.

A presentation on the flyover project was given at the meeting. The progress report on the project was discussed in detail by the officials concerned.

Gupta said a team of officials from Tata Steel, Tata Steel UISL, road construction department and district administration would visit the project site on Sunday and inspect it along with several other places. The formalities would soon be completed to pave way for the flyover construction, he said.
