Jamshedpur: Flying Squad recovers fines for flouting building material storage norms

Jamshedpur, May 30: Acting upon the instructions of Sanjay Kumar, Special Officer of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee, the flying squad conducted an operation today to crack down on individuals who stored building materials on the roadside in Dhalbhum Road. Additionally, the squad targeted those who kept trade license and building materials in unauthorized areas.

During the operation, a total of 13 individuals were found in violation of the rules. As a result, a fine of Rs 28,500 was collected from the offenders. The initiative was carried out under the leadership of City Manager Ravi Bharti, along with In-Charge Inspector MKL Das, and regional revenue personnel including Prakash Bhagat, Dilip Barik, Krishna Ram, and Ganesh Ram, who were assisted by the flying squad personnel. The crackdown aimed to ensure compliance with regulations regarding the storage of building materials and to maintain the cleanliness and safety of public spaces in Jamshedpur.
