Jamshedpur: The annual Flower Show in Jamshedpur is scheduled to take place from December 23 to 26 at Bistupur Gopal Maidan. Organized by the Horticulture Society of Jamshedpur in collaboration with Tata Steel and Tata Steel UISL.
The theme for the 33rd Annual Flower show is,” Khushal ho Prakriti aur Ghar Sansar, Jab Hum Laye Phoolon Ki Bahar”, informed Horticulture Society President Sumita Nupur, Secretary Anuradha Mohpatra and Sukanya Das.

Addressing a press meet on Saturday they said, the exhibition will feature a variety of displays, including seasonal flowers, bonsai, vegetables, innovative products, and a diverse range of plants. Expert horticulturists will participate in the evaluation.
The event will host 33 nurseries, allowing visitors to make purchases. There will be 5 stalls from Kalimpong, 4 from Odisha, 7 from West Bengal, and 17 local along with 14 octagonal hangars.
Approximately 780 artists will participate in Sit and Draw competitions, and numerous exhibitions will be organized. Additionally, 25 counters, 14 Pan-India stalls, and 12 food stalls will be present. The entry fee is set at Rs. 10.
Technical sessions on December 24 and 25 will cover topics like seasonal flower cultivation, vegetable and kitchen gardening techniques, smart gardening technology, and pest and nutrition management for plants. Students from Jamshedpur and nearby areas are invited to participate in these technical sessions to gain knowledge.
