Jamshedpur: Five convicted in Ram Sakal Yadav murder case

Jamshedpur, Feb 21: The court of Additional District Judge (ADJ) IV Rajendra Kumar Sinha convicted five persons in Ramsakal Yadav murder case. It will pronounce punishment on 27th February.

The case dates back to 1st August 2015 when armed assailants opened fire on Ram Sakal Yadav, a builder from Bagbera Colony, when he was walking at Jubilee Park in the morning. An FIR was lodged in this connection by Ranju Devi, wife of the deceased. One accused, Munmun Singh, is still at large. Other accused, Vicky Tapadiya, Sandip Tapadiya and Munna Tapadiya, were arrested after the incident. The prime accused in this case, Upendra Singh, was shot dead at Civil Court premises on 30th November 2016.
