Jamshedpur: Fine levied during anti-dengue raid

Jamshedpur, August 28: For the prevention of dengue in Chakulia Panchayat, a joint team of Community Health Center and Nagar Panchayat, under the leadership of city manager Monis Salam, raided various places in Ward No. 9 on Monday.

Especially such places was  targeted from where dengue larvae were likely to be found in large quantities. In this sequence, a challan of Rs 300 was issued to Maz Traders, scrap seller, Rs 100 to Alimuddin Khan, Rs 1000 to Gaurav Jhunjhunwala, mushroom factory and Rs 500 to Vikas Lodha’s soap factory.

The larvae growing at all the affected places were destroyed on the spot by the joint team. Major action was warned for not taking precaution and if larvae are found again. The campaign of the joint team will continue even further.
