Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur FC U-18 looks to cap off an impressive group-stage campaign as they face Ramakrishna Mission Football Academy in their final Group G fixture of the AIFF Elite League.
The “Young Men of Steel” remain unbeaten throughout the tournament and have already secured their spot in the final phase. This final group match offers Jamshedpur the chance to maintain consistency and carry vital momentum into the next stage of the competition.
Head coach Kaizad Ambapardiwalla believes the journey reflects the players’ growth and commitment this season.
“The boys have shown great character throughout the campaign,” Ambapardiwalla said. “It is not easy to maintain this level of consistency with a demanding schedule, but they have stayed focused and worked hard every day.”
Reflecting on last season—where Jamshedpur finished as runners-up—Ambapardiwalla emphasized continuous improvement. He noted that while the group successfully applied lessons from last year, “another step” remains to reach the very top.
Despite securing qualification, the coach insists the team’s approach will not change. He stated that the squad remains focused on finishing this phase strongly, viewing every game as an opportunity to improve before the final round begins.
With high confidence and a disciplined mindset, Jamshedpur FC U-18 aims for one more dominant performance in Narainpur to prepare for the looming challenges of the final phase.
