Jamshedpur FC to start ISL 6 on home turf

Men of Steel to host Delhi Dynamos on Oct 22

Jamshedpur, Aug 23: The schedule for the sixth season of the Indian Super League (ISL) is out and the opening fixture will be held between two-time winners ATK and two-time finalists Kerala Blasters at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on October 20. Jamshedpur FC, who missed out on a play-off berth last season narrowly, will host Delhi Dynamos in their first match of the season on 22nd October at JRD Tata Sports Complex.
This being the third season for Jamshedpur FC the team will be eager to qualify for the play offs.
Men of Steel will play their second home game against Pune City on 29th October followed by the third home game against Bengaluru FC on November 3. Jharkhand based side will play its first away match against ATK in Kolkata on November 9. The only international break in the first half would be from November 10 to November 23.
After the break Tata Steel franchisee will be up against FC Goa in an away fixture on November 26. The team which has played 18 matches in the two seasons will head home to play in front of the home crowd after a gap of about a month. JFC will face North East United on 2nd December. The Furnace will host its fifth match on 6th December when Men of Steel will take on Abhishek Bachchan owned Chennaiyan FC. Next match of Jamshedpur FC will be against Kerala Blasters in an away fixture at Kochi on 13th December. The team will back at the den to take on Mumbai City on 19th December at the furnace. The team will move to the National Capital to take on Delhi Dynamos on 27th December. JFC will play away games against North East United on 2nd January and against Bengaluru FC on 9th January. Men of Steel will play home match against Kerala Blasters on 19th January followed by away match against Chennaiyan FC on 23rd January. JFC’s next home game will be against ATK on February 2 followed by away fixture against Mumbai City FC on 6th February and against Pune City FC on February 12. The team will play its last league match against FC Goa at JRD Tata Sports Complex on 19th February.
The new season will feature a total of 90 matches in the league stage which will conclude on February 23, 2020.
All the matches would be starting from at 7:30 pm IST.
