Jamshedpur, August 16: Jamshedpur FC is gearing up to kick off its pre-season preparations in the Steel City with an anticipated match against Gokulam Kerala. The action is set to unfold at the Flatlets Training Ground in Jamshedpuron Thursday, August 17, with the match scheduled to start at 6 PM.
This pre-season encounter will initiate a training campaign spanning approximately a month and a half, as the team readies itself for the upcoming Hero Indian Super League (ISL) season, which is slated to commence around the third week of September.
Leading the Jamshedpur FC squad this season is Head Coach Scott Cooper, who has taken on the role with a two-year contract. The team has undergone several changes and additions to its roster, including the inclusion of new talents both from India and abroad.
The foreign contingent features fresh names like Alen Stevanovic, Rei Tachikawa, Jeremy Manzorro, Elsinho, and Petar Sliskovic, who will contribute their skills to the squad. In addition, the team has welcomed new Indian signings, namely Wungngayam Muirang, Provat Lakra, and Imran Khan, as part of its preparations for the upcoming season.
