Shillong, February 8: Jamshedpur FC Reserves endured a frustrating evening as they fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat against Aizawl FC in their third match of the Reliance Foundation Development League (RFDL) Zonal Round at Wahiajer Stadium. Aizawl FC found the net in the first half, and despite Jamshedpur FC’s relentless attacking efforts, the opposition defense held firm to secure the win.
Jamshedpur FC created multiple chances throughout the game, with Remson, Amzard, and Zuala all coming close to scoring. The team pushed forward in search of an equalizer, but Aizawl FC’s goalkeeper produced a heroic performance, making at least four goal-line saves to deny the visitors. Despite dominating possession and putting the opposition under sustained pressure, Jamshedpur FC couldn’t find a way through.
