Jamshedpur FC names squad for Super Cup 2018 minus top striker Azuka

Jamshedpur, March 27: Indian Super League (ISL) debutants Jamshedpur FC are set to face Minerva Punjab FC in the Hero Super Cup 2018 pre-quarters on 2nd April. Ahead of the tournament, Jamshedpur FC announced the squad travelling to Bhubaneswar for the Super Cup tournament.

Tata Steel owned franchisee will miss the services of their Striker Izu Azuka and star midfielder Sameehg Doutie as the tournament allows only 6 foreigners to be part of the squad.

The players available for the tournament include-Goalkeepers-Subrata Paul, Sanjiban Ghosh and Rafique Ali Sardar. Defenders- Andre Bikey (Foreigner), Tiri (Foreigner), Anas Edathodika, Sairuat Kima, Souvik Chakrabarti, Yumnam Raju, Shouvik Ghosh, Robin Gurung and Karan Amin.

Midfielders-Wellington Priori (Foreigner), Trindade Goncalves (Foreigner),
Mehtab Hossain, Bikash Jairu, Memo (Foreigner).

Forwards- Kervens Belfort (Foreigner), Jerry Mawia, Ashim Biswas, Farukh Choudhary, Sumeet Passi and Siddharth Singh

The Round of 16 of the inaugural edition of the Super Cup is set to be held from March 31 to April 6 at the Kalinga stadium in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha.

Chennaiyin FC will face Aizawl FC in the first match of round of 16 on March 31.
