Jamshedpur FC launches all-digital ticketing for ISL, tickets start from Rs 50 available from February 10

Jamshedpur, February 9: Jamshedpur FC on Monday officially launched digital-only ticket sales for the upcoming Indian Super League (ISL) 2025–26 season, with ticket prices starting at Rs 50 and bookings opening from 4 PM on February 10 through the District by Zomato app. The move marks a historic first in Indian football, as Jamshedpur FC becomes the first ISL club to adopt a completely digital ticketing system for all home matches.

The ticket launch was formally announced by Jamshedpur FC Head Coach Owen Coyle, underlining the club’s push towards innovation and fan convenience. All tickets for the club’s nine home matches this season will be available exclusively through the District by Zomato app, offering supporters a seamless, paperless matchday experience.

Fans wishing to attend matches can book tickets by downloading the District app by Zomato, navigating to the Events section, and searching for the desired Jamshedpur FC fixture. The event page provides complete information, including match details, FAQs, and terms and conditions. Supporters can view the full stadium layout of the JRD Tata Sports Complex, filter seating options based on price or hospitality preferences, select the number of seats, and proceed to checkout.

Once payment is completed, tickets are stored securely within the app under the user’s profile. A QR code, which activates on matchday, allows direct entry into the stadium without the need for physical tickets. Tickets can also be transferred digitally to another contact through the app. Fans will receive booking confirmations and updates via email, WhatsApp, and SMS, ensuring clear communication and a hassle-free experience.

Speaking about the initiative, Jamshedpur FC CEO Mukul Choudhari said the club has always prioritised its supporters. “This digital-only ticketing system through the District by Zomato app ensures a smoother, faster and more secure entry experience. It removes the hassles of physical tickets and allows fans to walk straight into the stadium. With packed stands expected this season, the system will help create a seamless matchday experience and a stronger atmosphere at the Furnace,” he said.

The all-digital ticketing initiative also reflects the club’s commitment to sustainability and innovation. By eliminating paper tickets, Jamshedpur FC aims to significantly reduce its carbon footprint while also streamlining stadium operations. For the first time in ISL history, fans can enter the stadium directly by scanning their digital QR code at the designated gate, removing the need for ticket collection counters.

Club officials believe the digital-only entry system will reduce congestion at entry points, cut down waiting times, and minimise pre-match stress for supporters. With just a smartphone and a valid QR code, fans can enjoy quicker and more efficient access to the stadium, allowing them to focus on the football and the vibrant matchday atmosphere inside the iconic JRD Tata Sports Complex.

Jamshedpur FC will play nine home matches during the ISL 2025–26 season. The home campaign begins on February 15 at 5 PM, when the Men of Steel take on Mohammedan SC, a fixture expected to draw strong fan support and set the tone for the season.

Prices are set at Rs 50 for the North and South Stands, Rs 150 for East Upper and West Upper, Rs 250 for East and West Lower, Rs 499 for VIP seating, and Rs 3,000 for hospitality tickets.
