Jamshedpur/Mumbai, March 31: Jamshedpur FC will take on FC Goa in their final Group A match of the Reliance Foundation Development League (RFDL) National Stage on April 1 at 4 PM at the Reliance Corporate Park in Mumbai. With three wins in three matches, Jamshedpur FC needs just a draw to secure their place in the semifinals.
FC Goa, meanwhile, finds themselves in a must-win situation. The Gaurs have collected just three points from their three games and will be looking to put up a strong fight against a high-flying Jamshedpur FC. However, with Jamshedpur’s dominant run, including a 5-2 victory over NorthEast United FC in their last outing, head coach Kaizad Ambapardiwalla’s side will enter the contest with confidence.
Jamshedpur FC’s attack has been in sublime form, with Bivan Jyoti Laskar and Lawmsangzuala leading the charge. Their defense, too, has stood strong, and another solid performance could see them extend their unbeaten streak and move one step closer to the RFDL National Championship.
With everything to play for, Jamshedpur FC will be focused on finishing the group stage on a high note and sealing their place in the knockout rounds.
