Jamshedpur, Nov. 1: JFC coach Antonio Iriondo has high hopes his side can register a third straight home win in the ISL.
Iriondo is confident ahead of the clash against Bengaluru FC and says his team will approach it as any other match.
“Bengaluru FC is a good team and it will be a big test playing against the defending champions. We have had a good start to the season and have been playing great and will take Bengaluru as any other match,” said Iriondo.
“We need to focus on our own team and are working on strengths and weakness of the side. We are working on the new way of playing and during training we are focusing on the ways to increase our speed which would help work the ball around faster,” stated gaffer while addressing a pre-match press conference at JRD Tata Sports Complex on Friday.
Talking about the fans, Spaniard Iriondo said, “I have seen fans in Europe and how they energy to the team. We are happy with the Jamshedpur FC fans we will play for them hope to give them back.”
CK Vineeth, Noe Acosta and Augustin Fernandes are suffering from niggles and back pain and there are no serious injuries, added Antonio Iriondo.
