Jamshedpur, Nov. 30: North East United FC coach Eelco Schattorie was all praise for Jamshedpur FC and their captain Tiri.
Addressing a pre-match press conference, Schattorie said, “Jamshedpur FC breathes football and the team is very much organised, disciplined and structured. It has a very good midfield and I personally like the JFC captain Tiri a lot”.
Schattorie also admired the good football infrastructure in Jamshedpur and said that they like to play good football.
North East United FC finished at the bottom of the points table last season. When asked about the turnaround, the North East coach said that there wasn�t any magic wand but, �We have worked on dynamics and team composition. The players have also been exceptional. �
He also admitted that his team will need to work hard to maintain its perfect away record. “Overall, it is going to be a very interesting game. We won a lot of away matches, they didn�t lose at home. I�m curious what is going to happen,” Schattorie added.
He went on to say, �It took us 15 hours to travel from Pune to Jamshedpur. We were exhausted because of the travel and could not undergo much practice,� Schattorie signed off.
