Jamshedpur family robbed of lakhs worth of belongings while on Bihar trip

Jamshedpur, July 9: Thieves took advantage of the absence of Manish Kumar Singh’s family, who were attending a relative’s reception in Hajipur, Bihar, and broke into their home on Colony Road No. 1, Bagbera. The perpetrators broke the lock of the house and made off with significant valuables.

The stolen items included two laptops, jewelry, an LED TV, four gas cylinders, and other belongings kept in the cupboard. The theft was discovered by Dilip Kumar Singh, Manish Kumar Singh’s maternal uncle, who was overseeing the property during the family’s absence. He promptly alerted both the homeowner and local authorities.

Upon receiving the report, police arrived at the scene to investigate. The exact value of the stolen goods will be determined upon the return of Mahesh Kumar Singh, the homeowner. According to Dilip Singh, the thieves forcibly entered through the main door, ransacked the house, and targeted the cupboard where the valuables were stored.

Ruby Kumari, Manish Kumar Singh’s sister from Cable Town, also arrived at the scene and expressed shock at the scene of the crime. The police are currently awaiting further details upon Mahesh Singh’s return to assess the full extent of the burglary.
