Jamshedpur: Members of the Purv Sainik Seva Parishad (PSSP) today took out an Akrosh Rally to condemn the criticisms against the Chief of Army General Bipin Rawat. The march commenced from Sakchi Shahid Chowk and passing through Jhanda Chowk went upto the main traffic roundabout in Sakchi where it was converted into a meeting. Slogans in salutation to Mother India, the defense services and General Bipin Rawat rent the air as the PSSP angry and charged up members took digs at the country�s politicians for their attempt to vilify the name of the Army chief in particular and the defense personnel in general.
PSSP state secretary Varun Kumar said, �The manner in which politicians are uttering senseless statements clearly show that they are anti-nationals, absolutely unconcerned about the present political condition of the country. They are giving false statements in an attempt to confuse citizens which is absolutely against the spirit of nationalism. The Indian army men will never tolerate such remarks and false propaganda being carried out by these wily politicians. The army gambles life for security of every inch of national territory and these politicians who are greedy for votes and power side with the infiltrators and instigate people against CAA.�
Krira Bharati state secretary Rajiv advocated that all traitors and anti-nationals should be put behind bars. He warned, �General Rawat has made the politicians realize what patriotism and nationalism are and as such, men like Owaisi, Chidambaram, Diggi and the rest of their clan had better not speak against the Army Chief or else their effigies will be burnt throughout the state.�
Naman organization member DD Tripathy contended that people with leftist inclinations like Arundhati Roy were trying to arouse the darker side of human instinct among the youth like Ranga and Billa and legal action should be initiated against such persons.
Among those present on the occasion were Ramji, Hari, Rakesh, Asish, Ashwini, Mukesh, Avinash, Jaydev Chand, Ashok Kumar, Prem Jha, Aloke Pandey, Satyaprakash, Pankaj Sharma, Krishnamohan, Jasbir Singh, Satyendra Singh, Ashok Bajpayee, Sunil Kumar, Dhiraj Singh, Bimal Kumar Ojha, Umesh Singh, RP Singh, Awdhesh Kumar, Sashi Bhushan Singh, Anil Prasad, Mohan Dubey, Santosh Singh, Sushil Verma, Vijay Kumar, Ajay Singh, Ranjit, Naresh and BK Das. The vote of thanks was proposed by Ashok Bajpayee.
