Jamshedpur, March 26: In the light of the East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner’s directives, shops along encroached space along the Mango Munshi Mohalla were removed. This step was necessitated in view of the Ramnavami processions that were to pass along the route. The administrative authorities urged evicted shopkeepers not to reopen their business till after Ramnavami. Other owners of footpath stalls have been directed to remove their shops within the next 24 hours.
It may be mentioned that the East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner had visited Mango on Saturday night abd after surveying the Mango Municipal Corporation Area for congestion spots had issued directives for removal of shops from encroached spots along the main roads. She also issued orders for removal of bricks, sand and other costruction material lying along the roads. The shops on encroached land were removed in the presence of the MMC City Manager and other officials. Many localities were also cleaned on the occasion.
A temporary checkpost along the Munshi Mohalla road will be put up to prevent congestion and any untoward incidents.
Hope they use the now vacant space for better purpose like parking space which is a must required thing in Mango right now specially near the mango chawk and won’t think of wasting people’s money by converting the whole space into parks.
Glad to see the clearance of area, this was really good step taken by our Deputy commissioner. Afterall clean and green city. Thank
