Jamshedpur, Dec 14: Railway department launched an anti-encroachment drive near Lal Building under Bagbera police station area on Wednesday. RPF officials removed encroachment from the Railway land. Bagbera police was also present during the operation. Over two dozen illegally constructed structures were demolished. Many encroachers removed their goods on their own.
The RPF in-charge SK Tiwary said the encroachers were given prior notice about the anti-encroachment drive. He said the campaign would continue in the coming days.
