Jamshedpur educationalist Bodhanwala to organise workshops ‘Waves of Change’

Jamshedpur, Aug 20: With the idea of supporting parents in these troubled times, city-based educationalist Rubina Bodhanwala is organising a series of online workshops, the first of which is for toddler parents and the second for Pre-teens with their parents.  These workshops are being conducted by an Arts-based therapy practitioner Karen D’lima.

The first workshop, Mindful Toddler Parenting is scheduled on August 29 from 6 pm to 7 pm. It is designed for parents of toddlers from 2-5 years. To register the participants can WhatsApp on 9031078901.  The second workshop Mindful Teenage Parenting is scheduled on September 5. It is designed for parents and children for class V-VII.

Rubina Bodhanwala informed that the amount collected from the workshops will go towards feeding people in the remote villages through the ‘Food for Hungry’ project by Pranic Healing.

She said that those parents who feel that their child lacks confidence or has less concentration and limited focus can participate in the workshop. Through certain techniques, relaxation and planning, the children will learn to concentrate, handle negativity and overcome emotional limitations.

“Parent-Child Relationship is one that nurtures the physical, emotional and social development of the child. It is a unique bond that every child and parent can enjoy and nurture. This relationship lays the foundation for the child’s personality, life choices and overall behaviour. It can also affect the strength of their social, physical, mental and emotional health. Parenting is the most fulfilling job that we will ever have, but it’s not without its challenges. We will help parents to know what is best for their child and motivate them for a strong parent-child relationship that can help lead to better outcomes for children,” said Bodhanwala.

Bodhanwala, who is famous for spreading the light of education in the city, said that this workshop is specially formulated for the parents of the city to help and benefit them to look at life differently.
