Jamshedpur: Accelerating development in the Jamshedpur East Assembly constituency, Member of Parliament (MP) Bidyut Baran Mahato and MLA Purnima Sahu laid the foundation stones for several key projects in the Sitaramdera area on Wednesday. Funded by the Urban Development and Housing Department, these initiatives focus on strengthening basic infrastructure and beautifying religious sites.
The sanctioned projects, totaling ₹28,86,000, include:

Reconstruction of the Lord Birsa Munda Temple in Old Sitaramdera and installation of paver blocks at the Jaipal Singh Munda complex.

Construction of new roads and drains in JP Nagar, Bhuiyandih, and Agrico Line No. 2.

Installation of paver blocks at the Subhash Ashram in New Baradwari and the main approach road to the Maa Katyayani Kali Temple in Bhuiyandih.
During the ceremony, MP Bidyut Baran Mahato and MLA Purnima Sahu emphasized that these projects prioritize public convenience. They reiterated their commitment to expanding civic amenities and providing better infrastructure for residents, promising that development in Jamshedpur East will gain further momentum in the coming months.
