Jamshedpur, Jan 5: Jamshedpur East MLA Purnima Sahu on Monday held a detailed meeting with Tata Steel UISL General Manager R. K. Singh at his office to discuss pressing civic issues affecting her assembly constituency.
The meeting was attended by BJP mandal presidents from all seven mandals under the constituency.
During the interaction, the MLA strongly emphasized the need to further strengthen and streamline essential civic amenities in Tata command areas, including electricity, drinking water supply, road infrastructure and sanitation.
She underlined that ensuring better public services for residents remains a top priority and called for stronger coordination and close monitoring among the concerned agencies.

The BJP mandal presidents also submitted memorandums highlighting area-specific issues within their respective mandals related to Tata-managed zones, seeking prompt intervention and solutions.
Responding to the concerns, Tata Steel UISL General Manager R. K. Singh, along with senior officials, patiently heard all the points raised and assured that the issues would be addressed on a priority basis.
He reaffirmed Tata Steel UISL’s commitment to continuously improving and strengthening basic civic services for citizens.
MLA representative Gunjan Yadav and mandal presidents Yuvraj Singh, Ranjit Singh, Vikas Sharma, Ritesh Jha, Kumar Abhishek, Bapan Banerjee and Ashok Samant were prominently present during the meeting.
