Jamshedpur, Sep 20: City residents may soon witness a puja pandal built on a unique theme at S Type, Adityapur. The pandal, being built under the patronage of Manoj Singh of Singhbhum Boys Cricket Club will be based on the theme of musical instruments.
According to Singh, the proposed pandal would be seen in the shape of a guitar. The interior and exterior decoration of the pandal would be based on the same theme, he said.
This year an 80 feet high statue of Goddess Durga is being built for the Club. Artists from West Bengal are working day and night to give last touches to the pandal. Light decoration is being done by artists from Chandan Nagar. The Club is organizing Durga Puja since 1972, said Singh.
