Jamshedpur Durga Puja: DC directs officials to remain anchored at HQ for law and order 

Jamshedpur, Oct 11: Deputy Commissioner  Manjunath Bhajantri has issued a directive to all senior officers, officials, supervisors, and engineers posted in the district to remain on duty during Durga Puja.

The order underscores the critical need for their presence at the headquarters to ensure the maintenance of law and order during this festive period.

Durga Puja, one of the most significant festivals in the region, witnesses a surge in public gatherings and celebrations. Recognizing the potential challenges related to law enforcement and public safety during this period, the DC’s order emphasizes the importance of a robust administrative presence.

In his directive, the DC has explicitly stated that the senior officers, officials, supervisors, and engineers are required to remain stationed at their headquarters from October 15 to 25.

This ten-day period encapsulates the crucial window of Durga Puja celebrations when an influx of residents and visitors is anticipated.

The directive aims to streamline administrative efforts and facilitate swift decision-making processes to address any unforeseen situations that may arise during the festivities.
