Jamshedpur, Feb 17: Sonari Domuhani is being cleaned and prepared for a grand Maha Shivratri celebration tomorrow. A large numer of devotees would be gathering here to attend the celebration. The entire city is preparing enthusiastically for the festival. Temples are being decorated and lit up for the special occasion.
Various events are lined up for the day. State Health Minister Banna Gupta has announced to organize Shahi Snan at Sonari Domuhani. The devotees would take the holy dip in the Swarnarekha and pay obeisance to Lord Shiva.
A 30 feet high Shivling is being prepared at the Domuhani. A bhajan programme will also be organized. Noted Bhojpuri singer Bharat Sharma Vyas will be performing during the event. A group of 11 priests and 51 sadhus would be arriving here from Varanasi. A Nadi Aarati would also be held tomorrow. Over one lakh people are expected to participate in the celebration.
