Jamshedpur, Aug 7: Ailing doctor identified as Jeet Lal ( 70) committed suicide by jumping from the fifth floor of Madhusudan Apartment near Dimna Chowk under MGM police station of Jamshedpur.
He was immediately rushed to MGM Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead after examination. It is said that Dr Jeet was also suffering from serious illness. He had taken VRS many years back. He was living in Madhusudan Apartment. He was often living in depression due to illness. It is being speculated that he committed suicide due to illness.
Jeetlal used to practice in Chakradharpur. DSP Patmada Sumit Kumar also reached. DSP Patmada said that the report of suicide has not been received and police is investigating. At the same time, some family members also say that he may have gone to the balcony and somehow slipped and fell from the railing. Police investigation has revealed that he has committed suicide. People has taken the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem.
