Jamshedpur: The All India Helpline, a national-level social organization, is set to organize its first-ever district-level essay competition in Jamshedpur. Originally planned for November 17, 2024, the event has been rescheduled to December 1, 2024 (Sunday), due to the ongoing assembly elections. This decision was finalized during a crucial meeting of the organizing committee’s core members, chaired by Avinash Kaur.
The competition will take place at Vivekananda Vidyalaya, Mango, Jamshedpur, starting at 9:00 AM. It will be conducted in two categories: School Group: Open to students from Classes 8 to 12, with a word limit of 300–350. The topic for this category is “Changes of the 21st Century.” College Group: Open to college students, with a maximum word limit of 400. The topic is “Industrial Development and Natural Environment Cannot Coexist.”
Application forms for the competition have been distributed to various schools and colleges across the district. Participants can submit their forms either online or offline, with the last date for submission being November 20, 2024.

The meeting to finalize the new date was conducted under the leadership of Avinash Kaur, with vice-chairperson Gurucharan Singh managing the proceedings and secretary Dharmendra Kumar delivering the vote of thanks.
