Jamshedpur: As per the directives of District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal, disability camps will be organized at the block level across East Singhbhum district from January 11 to February 27, 2025. Additionally, a camp is proposed in the urban area of Mango. Civil Surgeon has been instructed to ensure the deputation of specialist doctors for the successful execution of these camps.
The Civil Surgeon confirmed that the camps will include specialists in orthopedics, ENT, psychiatry, ophthalmology, audiology, and clinical psychology. These experts will provide comprehensive health assessments to attendees.
The District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner has mandated the presence of specialist doctors at all camps as per the schedule. The camps aim to conduct medical assessments and issue disability certificates to eligible individuals. These camps are being organized to facilitate easy access to essential medical services for persons with disabilities (PwDs) across the district.
