Jamshedpur devotees stranded in Amarnath

Jamshedpur, July 8: Many people of Jamshedpur have gone for Amarnath Yatra, but due to snowfall and rain since July 6, all are stuck there.

Nearly 100 people of the city were allowed to go to Amarnath.

Magan Lal Sharma, a resident of Baridih, released a video on the morning of July 8 and told about the latest situation there. He said that they have been stuck in Panchsar since July 6 after visiting the Amarnath cave, but no arrangement has been made to evacuate the passengers. There are about five to seven thousand passengers.

People are feeling some relief from the ongoing Bhandara in Panchsar. There, announcement is being made through the mike that no passenger should leave from there. All stay in tents. Many of the stranded people have lost their helicopter tickets. Many people have missed their flights. Many passengers had to catch trains, but due to not being able to get out from there, now they will not be able to catch the train.

Many passengers alleged that there was chaos  due to the helicopter being owned by a private company. Rs 800 was being asked in lieu of ticket to go by helicopter. Magan Lal Sharma said that the system of the local administration and the Shrine Board there has failed. The passengers are anxious to go to their homes, but the local administration is doing nothing.
