Jamshedpur: Demand for uninterrupted power supply during Ramadan

Jamshedpur, March 30: With the holy month of Ramadan commencing from Sunday, April 3, MLA Representative of Jamshedpur West Constituency, Ansar Khan led a delegation and handed a memorandum to the General Manager of JBVNL, Paritosh Kumar urging for uninterrupted power supply during the holy month of Ramadan when Muslims will observe Roza or fast and would also follow the religious processes of Iftar, Maghreb Namaaz and Taraweeh during the holy month of Ramadan. It was pointed out in the memorandum that apart from older people many children too observe Roza and uninterrupted power supply during the period should be ensured. The JBVNL General Manager, Paritosh Kumar assured that there would be no power cuts during the period. Among those who went in the delegation to hand over the memorandum included Riazuddin Khan, Sumitra Panda, Firoz Khan and others.
