Jamshedpur, April 13: In view of the unabated rise in COVID infection cases and fatalities, Deputy Commissioner Suraj Kumar convened an emergency meeting with owners of nursing homes and private hospitals to accommodate infected patients and provide them required medical attention. The DC directed the managements of these private medical units to increase bed capacities, maintain adequate oxygen supplies and provide ventilators in ICU units. Deputy Commissioner Suraj Kumar stressed that joint efforts were needed to curb the spiraling COVID graph.
