Jamshedpur, October 6. On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri, repair of the sunken portion of the road between Jamshedpur Court and MGM Hospital has started.
About fifteen days ago, the said road had become dilapidated and sunken due to heavy rains and water logging, but neither Tata Steel UISL (old name Jusco) nor the district administration was taking any action, only the road was cordoned off with drums.
It was abandoned due to which traffic was affected on half of the road.
Local people had informed former BJP district president Dinesh Kumar about the related problem and he shared it with deputy commissioner.
Deputy Commissioner took immediate initiative in the matter and directed the concerned department to repair the road without any delay so that no untoward incident happens on the road.
Jamshedpur Notified Area Committtee and TSUISL have started the road repair work.
