Jamshedpur DC inspects residential school in Sabarnagar, Potka

Jamshedpur, Jan 9: East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla visited Government ST Residential High School, Sabarnagar, in Potka on Thursday and inspected facilities available to the tribal students. He stayed here for three hours during which he taught the students and had lunch with them apart from inspecting the school.

The DC urged teachers of the residential school to make maximum use of the facilities being provided by the government to provide quality education to students. He said the school would be developed into a model school. Many more facilities would be provided to the school. He said the school had good building and arrangements. Existing loopholes would be soon be removed, he said.

The DC said adequate books would be provided to the school for its library. The school kitchen would be made well-equipped and students would be given sports kits. All students would be given woolen caps, soaps and other necessary items. Solar light would be provided to the school, he said.
