Jamshedpur DC holds meeting on Model Code

Jamshedpur, Nov 6: Deputy Commissioner cum District Returning Officer of East Singhbhum Ravi Shankar Shukla convened a meeting of district election officials to discuss issues pertaining to Model Code of Conduct. He said the Model Code should be strictly followed everywhere across the district till it is in effect.

The DC directed the election duty officials to take cognizance of cases of Model Code violation through cVIGIL App and their sources so as to ensure free and fair elections. He said any citizen can complain through the cVIGIL App. Action would be taken by the district administration within 100 minutes, he said.
