Jamshedpur, Feb 3: The second phase of the vaccination drive for Covid—19 for frontline workers began in the East Singhbhum district on Wednesday at the Red Cross Bhawan in Sakchi.
Almost all the senior administrative officials including deputy commissioner Suraj Kumar, deputy development commissioner Parmeshwar Bhagat, SDM Dhalbhum Nitish Kumar Singh reached the venue for taking vaccines and after completing all formalities and registration process took the vaccine and spent 30 minutes in the observation room.
The deputy commissioner, Suraj Kumar said that as part of efforts to stop Covid-19 infection the vaccine drive is being carried out with full observation of doctors and it is completely safe and it essential for everyone to take the vaccine.
In the next phase, common masses would be given vaccines. The deputy commissioner appealed that every one should take vaccine in their due time.
